So I have a bit of a problem. See, I have two monitors hooked up to my computer because it’s cool to do that… but the one I used to use as my main, which has seen several years of use has kinda burnt out so all the colors are super saturated or are to dark to see clearly. My second monitor tends to mute all my colors…. I went with the second while coloring this cause I thought it would give me more accurate results despite that but honestly I have no idea how this picture actually looks now because of this =| I suspect her hair looks like it’s on fire but I have no way of knowing until I print it Lol….. Oh well!

I’ve scanned a lot of my drawings up and while I get them ready I thought I’d upload this one for the time being. Also this one doesn’t fit with the others since their all from one story and this one was drawn only cause I felt like drawing a snakey dragon-type creature.

I imagine them to be cat-like and playful, though only among themselves. They’re dangerous and not worth taming otherwise. They rear up on their tails when scanning their surroundings and feed mainly on a diet of fish and fruit. This ones female and if I was to paint her I’d probably make her light grey with dark grey stripes, a white underbelly and bright red eyes. I’ve thought of giving the males some horns or a crest or something and giving them a brighter coloring of blue and orange… I probably should do complete colored versions seeing as how I’ve already put way to much thought into them.

Between work and sleep I’ve been working on my story little by little. This is one of the larger illustrations I’ve worked on whenever I’ve had a scrap of time to spare, it features one of the side characters, Tess. She starts off with a minor role for a while but grows more prominent as the story progresses. She’s one of my favorites to draw because of her hair… which will be somewhat obscured in this piece and is completely cut off in this preview Lol. Oh well. It’s far from finished, but I like how this part of it seems to be coming out so I thought I would share anyways. I’ll share more about what’s happening and the story once it’s done.
